Interventional Neuroradiology Devices and MRI Compatibility:

Most current devices that are implanted by our interventional neuroradiologists, such as intracranial stents and aneurysm coils are compatibile with MR imaging up to 3 Tesla. Patients with such implants may be given an MRI Safety Implant Card with the MRI safety specifics for their devices following their procedures if such a card is available for that device.
